基于产业链视角的湖南工程机械产业集群竞争力研究

工程机械产业的发展对于推动湖南工业化的进程具有重要意义.本文分析了湖南工程机械产业集群的现实情况,结合产业链与产业集群竞争力关系的基本理论,得出湖南工程机械产业集群竞争力的提高应以产业链为纽带,以产业内部和产业间的联动为基本动力以主导产业、重点产品的联动促进配套产业发展的结论.     

Quantitative analysis on the contribution of industrial structure change to sustainable development： a case study of Fujian Province

Development and sustainability are the core connotation of sustainable development. Sustainability of economic development and the provision capability of resources and environment are two aspects of sustainable development. The former ones are the foundation of the latter ones＇. Industrial structure has a close relationship with sustainable development. The optimization of industrial structure is the important base for the sustainable development of modern economy and also the important ways of the sustainable utilization of resources and environment; The intensive growth effect of industrial structure change has the meaning of sustainable development. This paper reviews and explains the theory on the contribution of indus＇trial structure change to sustainable development, builds the calculation model through introducing the coefficient of industrial structure change, makes an empirical study on the contribution of industrial structure change to sustainable development in Fujian, and puts forward ways and policies of optimizing industrial structure both among industries and inside the industry in the process of industrial structure change.

经济功能区形成路径研究

区域经济学并未圆满解决经济区域形成的理论机理问题.作为经济区域形成的关键步骤,经济功能区的形成杌理分析对经济区域的形成具有重大理论意义.从杜能的农业区住理论到克鲁格曼的新经济地理学,几乎所有学者将研究前提锁定为均质空间.这一假定使经济活动的聚集地点呈现随机性和巨大的偶然性.在多产业情况下,可以形成产业间相对分散、产业内高度集中、产业间空间距离与它们的联系紧密度有关的经济功能区.     

产业创新模式浅探:以长株潭城市群机电产业发展为例

建立符合我国国情的产业创新模式是指导现代产业创新实践的迫切需要。本文首先总结产业创新的一般模式与特点,然后以长珠潭城市群机电产业为例,结合长株潭城市群机电产业发展现状的分析,建立产业创新具体模式,并提出一些政策建议,即在政策上引导机电产业创新,为企业的自主创新营造良好的环境,建立机电产业工业园区,发展高新技术,改造传统产业,保持产业技术领先。     

Factors Driving Quality Standard Compliance in the Polish Dairy Sector

We construct a model to identify determinants of the diffusion rate of quality standards in a food chain. We argue that adoption decisions in the food chain are determined by farmers’ and processors’ economic considerations. Factors such as pricing behaviour, compliance costs and market structure are identified and discussed in the paper. The findings are used to test an econometric model utilizing data on Polish milk processing firms gathered between 2000 and 2002. The results indicate that input and output prices have a significant influence on the diffusion rate of standards; the dominance of large-scale holdings in the relevant procurement market significantly increases diffusion as well. Compared to their competitors, small cooperatives were found to face more significant problems in procuring high quality raw materials.      

Outward FDI and Local Employment Growth in Italy

Using several data sources, we assess the impact of Italy’s outward foreign direct investment (FDI) on local employment growth between 1996 and 2001 for 12 manufacturing industries and 103 administrative provinces. Our main result is that, controlling for the local industrial structure and area fixed effects, FDI is associated with faster local employment growth, relatively to the national industry average. We also find that employment in small plants is not negatively influenced by higher levels of FDI. Our findings do not support therefore the idea that FDI is detrimental to local employment growth in the home country. JEL no.  C21, F21, F23     

Identification and decomposition of regional economic disparity for the west coast of Taiwan Strait of China

Regional economic disparity is a hot issue in the development of society and economy. As the conjunct of the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta and the frontier to Taiwan, the west coast of the Taiwan Strait （WCS） is of great social and political significance. The paper defines the connotation of the WCS, decomposed the regional economic disparity by using weighted coefficient of variation and Theil coefficient, and explores the industrial and regional source of the regional economic disparity of the WCS. The analysis results show that： （1） the WCS has important political, economic and military position, so it＇s better to regard it to be comprehensive region, not just refer to Fujian Province; （2）from the industrial decomposition of weighted variation coefficient, the influence o.f the primary industry was tiny; conversely, the development inequity of the secondary and the tertiary, indusoy was the main source of regional economic disparity. Their contribution has had the converse trend and the secondary contribution has gone beyond the tertiary since 2003; （3）from the regional decomposition of Theil coefficient, the regional economic disparity mainly came from inter-area inequity of 4 areas. Moreover, the inner economic disparity mainly drove by Fujian, suggesting that the urban development inequity in Fujian Province was comparatively outstanding.
